



















Walter Colvin serves as the commercial lender at the Clayton branch where he works with new and existing customers to understand their personal needs, business goals, and how NSSB can help with financing purchases, operating lines of credit, or any other potential need someone might have.
Walter has been with North Salem State Bank since 2018 and has 7 years of experience in the banking industry. He enjoys the challenge of finding the best suited solutions to each individual’s obstacles. He loves to assist with questions about loan terms, and the effects they will have on families’ financial goals, businesses growth, and community development.
A native of Putnam County, Walter is very involved in 4-H, and outside of work enjoys time with family and friends on the farm and raising livestock.


Chad Johnson serves as the commercial lender at the Lebanon branch, serving Boone County. Chad assists customers with commercial loans, agricultural financing, and mortgage lending, and provides personalized guidance to help individuals, families, and local businesses achieve their financial goals.
A Boone County native and graduate of Western Boone High School, Chad brings a deep understanding of the community he serves. Before joining NSSB, Chad spent 30 years as the General Manager of Operations for a restaurant supply company in Indianapolis, where he developed strong business, financial, and customer service skills, giving him a firsthand understanding of what local businesses and families need to thrive.
Outside of work, Chad enjoys spending time with his family, golfing, DJing, fishing, and traveling out west. Chad and his wife, Marsha, also share their home with their great pyrenees, Mira, and are active supporters of local 4-H programs.

Kevin Miller is the Chief Lending Officer for North Salem State Bank and has been in this role since 2020. Kevin began his banking career with NSSB in 2015 as a commercial loan officer in Greencastle. Prior to joining NSSB, Kevin was in the insurance industry as an insurance agent and sales manager in Indiana for 12 years. While in the insurance industry, Kevin earned the designations of Financial Services Specialist (FSS) and Life Underwriting Training Council Fellow (LUTCF).
Since joining the bank, Kevin has continued to further his education and seek learning opportunities, most recently earning a designation from the Independent Community Bankers of America (ICBA) as a Certified Commercial Loan Officer. Kevin is a proud graduate of Purdue University and the Barrett Graduate School of Banking in Memphis, TN.
One of the main reasons Kevin joined NSSB was the opportunity to make a positive impact in the local communities. You will find Kevin and other NSSB employees volunteering at a variety of community events throughout the year, as they believe giving of their time and resources to others is important. Kevin was previously involved with the Hendricks County Ducks Unlimited Chapter as Treasurer, and with the Putnam County Museum Finance Committee. He is currently the Secretary and a Board Member for the Hendricks Power Cooperative, and the current Treasurer and board member for the Parks Foundation of Hendricks County where he has served since 2019. Additionally, Kevin joined the Danville AG Program Advisory Committee and, through his kids’ ag related activities, remains actively involved in supporting both 4-H and FFA. He has also coached multiple youth sports teams over the years.


Sherry Sichting serves as the commercial lender at the Plainfield branch, where she helps customers with commercial and consumer lending.
Sherry has been with North Salem State Bank since 2018 and has 30+ years of experience in the banking industry. She enjoys working with customers to contribute to their business success and to help their business grow.
As a native of Mooresville, IN, while working in Plainfield, Sherry is involved in several community organizations, including Plainfield Rotary, Plainfield Chamber of Commerce, Mooresville Chamber of Commerce, and the Kiwanis Club of Plainfield.
Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her family and grandchildren, and she enjoys hunting with her husband.


Cory Stewart serves as the commercial lender at the Danville Old Farm branch where he helps customers with commercial and business banking and lending, as well as consumer, mortgage, and construction lending.
Cory has been with North Salem State Bank since 2019 and has over 24 years of experience in lending and banking; specifically in Hendricks County, and the surrounding areas. He enjoys the variety and challenge that comes with serving commercial clients, learning about their businesses and families, and developing strong relationships as their companies grow.
Apart from his time earning his college degree at Butler University, Cory has spent most of his life living, working, and volunteering in the Hendricks County community. He has been a past President of both the Plainfield and Danville Rotary, as well as a Rotary board member, member of Kiwanis, and an ambassador of the local Chamber of Commerce, along with being an alum of Leadership Hendricks County. In addition to the many community involvement activities and clubs he volunteers with, he has also been involved with coaching youth sports over the years when his two sons were younger. When not working or volunteering, Cory enjoys spending time with family and friends, along with boating, camping, and fishing whenever he can find time to get a little fun in.
