At North Salem State Bank, we make check reorders easy, offer affordable safe deposit box rentals, protect you from hefty overdraft fees, and fast-track money from your paycheck straight into your NSSB account. Here are the details:
Check Re-Orders
- It's easy to reorder checks from deluxe.com.
- To reorder checks, you will need your routing/transit number, account number, and the starting number of your next check.
- Check orders will be sent to the mailing address on your account and a charge for the order will appear on your account.
- If there are any changes to your order, if it has been longer than two years since your last order, or if this is the first time you are ordering checks from North Salem State Bank, please call or visit one of our Central Indiana NSSB locations to complete your order.
- If you receive your checks for free from North Salem State Bank, please call or visit one of our branches to reorder your checks as Deluxe will charge your account if you order your checks online.
Direct Deposit
- Stop making an extra trip to one of our NSSB branches to deposit your paycheck. Instead, have the funds directly deposited into your account.
- To sign up for direct deposit, you'll need to give your account number, routing number, and account type to your employer's HR department or accounting office.
- You can also use direct deposit for Social Security payments, other government benefits and private pensions.
Sweep Overdraft Option
- Checking account overdrafts can cost you money in returned check fees and cause financial problems when your check payments aren't honored by businesses.
- One way to avoid such problems is to arrange to have North Salem State Bank automatically transfer - or sweep - funds from your savings account any time you have a checking shortfall and there are enough funds to cover the entire transaction in your savings account.
- A one-dollar charge applies each time the sweep service is used.
Safe Deposit & Security Boxes
- Safe deposit boxes are available at the North Salem, Danville Main, Danville Old Farm, Clayton, and Lebanon branches.
- Security boxes are available at the Greencastle East branch.
- Boxes of various sizes can be rented at affordable annual rates.
- Jewelry, heirlooms, family records, marriage and death certificates, and insurance policies are just some of the items that may be safely stored in these boxes.
- Contents of a safe deposit boxes and security boxes are not insured by the FDIC.
