Q. Can I reorder checks online?

A. North Salem State Bank has partnered with Deluxe to safely and conveniently provide online check ordering at deluxe.com. To order checks you will need your routing/transit number, account number and the starting number of your next check. Check orders will be sent to the mailing address on your account and a charge for the order will appear on your account. If there are any changes to your check order, if it has been longer than 2 years since your last check order, or if this is the first time you are ordering checks with North Salem State Bank, please call or visit one of our branches to complete your order. NOTE: If you receive your checks for free from NSSB, please call or visit one of our branches to place your check order because Deluxe will charge your account if you order your checks online.

Q. Why was I assessed an ATM fee?

A. We offer our customers free usage of North Salem State Bank ATMs. Your NSSB checking account may be subject to charges if you use an ATM elsewhere. ATMs at banks other than NSSB are considered foreign ATMs. Some NSSB checking accounts offer a number of free foreign ATM transactions per month, however a charge will be assessed for each additional foreign ATM transaction above the monthly limit. This service charge is in addition to any fees assessed by the financial institution operating the machine. You may also be charged a fee for a balance inquiry even if you do not complete a funds transfer. For more information on fees and disclosures, please call or visit one of our branches.

Q. How do I change my address and/or phone number?

A. You can update your address and phone number at any of our branches or contact us to request a change of address form.
